How to hang mounted Deer Heads?
My husband has two beautiful deer heads that he wants to hang up in our new home. We have two living rooms, formal and den. I would love to hang them in our formal living room but I need to adjust my decor in that room to match the deer heads, which I am willing to do. I just don't know how. What type of decor goes with deer heads? I am going to use my brown chenille couches and use dark wood in this room with the deer heads. Any Ideas?

How do I make my hair thicker/nappy for dreadlocks?
Ok, this may sound weird, but as far as I know, I'm completely African-American but my hair is really straight naturally. About 8 months ago, I put my hair into tiny braids to start my locs, and from the very beginning they were really straight but I wasnt worried; I figured they would start acting Black after a while. Now, months later, my hair still looks like braids-old braids with a perm in my hair. The ones in the back of my head are starting to lock up, but its really frustrating me that on 'regular' African-American hair, the braids would have locked up by now. Hi I have a bob that stops about an ince to two. Inces above my chin. My hair is cut in several layers that vary in size from, short and medium, I would simply love to have a beautiful braid, one single braid . Not multiple just one beautiful, simple, elegant braid. Will my chenille bedspread ever stop shedding?
I bought a fairly heavy-weight chenille bedspread that I just adore. I knew it would shed some, but it is really getting everywhere. EVERYWHERE. I've washed it a couple of times, and also toss it in the dryer on air fluff for an hour or so a week. This always removes a lot of lint, but it just seems never-ending. I don't remember the ones I had as a kid shedding like this. It is 100% cotton. Any suggestions?

I've used that before... it's pretty good. Once you work it up i is highly malleable. just be careful, it is really easy to bleed colors from one color to another.
Material suitable for making 18th Century panniers?
Im making an 18th century court gown, and I’m halfway through creating it. The length on either side is about 2 feet, and width about 1 foot. I HATE MY LIFE PLEASE HELP ME?
Basically, I am 16 years old and have no life whatsoever. I'm fed up. My mum and dad don't allow me to go out at all on school days and very rarely on the weekends, and even then I have to be home by about 7 and need to constantly keep in touch. I am not even allowed to date. I had my first boyfriend a while back and my mum found out about it and now both my mum and dad forbade me from going out with anyone, and I really really liked this guy. Now everything's so messed up because I really like him and see him practically every day in school but we can't be together. The worst thing is my parents are being complete hypocrites. They said I am too young to date when they were younger and also the boy was a different race then me which they said they would not allow when they are different races themselves. How unfair is this? I am well behaved. I don't drink, smoke or do rugs unlike lots of people my age, who seem to be given so much freedom and I just think why can't that be me? Also, I do well in school, they said I should concentrate on my school work which is really unfair considering they both left school as soon as they can. So, to sum up, my question is, what should I do? Should I just continue to live miserably like this or should I rebel? Also, should I date behind my parents' back? Please help me.

What should I knit that will keep me occupied and unbored?
Ravelry is a great site for ideas and patterns. I love to crochet amigurumi, which are little critters, like octopus, cats, aliens etc. Uses up scraps of wool and keeps me from snacking. You can find knitted versions of these little critters as well. On ravelry you can do a pattern search, you can sort free patterns and by difficulty. It is an american website but there are plenty of brits on it.
How do i fix this problem?
im an e5 in the 82nd. Roughly 3-4 weeks ago one of my former soldiers was pulled into the office by an e5 and e6 from a different platoon by themselves. they they proceeded to punch him in the face and gut, then threatened to slit his throat if he told anyone. he then came running out, read marked faced and traumatized, and told me the story. we then called the MPs and a questioning was done by them and my first seargent to the victom and the two worthless NCOs who did the ganging. word was said that next week CID was coming down to further the investigation but never came. its been 3-4 weeks since the incident and seems to be that its been swept under the rug due to favortism by the first seargent and seargent major liking the two dirt bags. they are still the same rank, same position, and none punishment received, while the victom states that he doesnt sleep any more for fear that they will kill him for telling. anyone have any advise as to how i can fix this? as an NCO this absolutely fires me up as it should any true NCO in the army.

Well, its a neutral, so pretty much anything would go, but I would stick to warmer tones. If you dont like the colors in your pillows- replace them. Or cover them. Neither would be that expensive. That way you'll have more color options. Do know that if you choose a darker color (like the red or orange, which I love) it will take at LEAST two coats, and will be difficult to cover when you go to repaint. But a bold color will add some much needed drama to a room full of neutrals.

YES it will. but put gel in it or mousse also since your hair isn't wet get a spray bottle and spray your hair with it. but next time try washing your hair and then braiding it with gel. tomorrow morning take out the braids put more gel or mousse in it and leave in conditioner if you want. make your hair little wet so the waves/curls last longer. i wore my hair wavy all this week and it looked beautiful everyone complimented on my hair and asked how i did it since my hair is naturally straight. TRUST ME i do it all the time my hair it will turn out beautiful and you will get many complitments! the bigger the braid the better the wave do either pigtails or braid it in four sections.

Basement decoration advice?
I need to make my basement look cool. It has bare cinderblock walls, a plywood ceiling with airvents exposed, and cement floors. How can I tame my hair? {explained better in details}?
So, I have really thick, slightly wavy, poofy hair that comes down to... hm, my armpit would be the best measurement. The problem is, it's extremely poofy and I can't do much with it. It doesn't scrunch well, if I went it and comb it out, it still gets poofy, it doesn't straighten well, and besides I hate using heat with it. I end up wearing it in braids like, 5 days out of the week 'cause there's just nothing to do with it. So how can I tame it, make it less poofy so I can actually wear it down? And are there any easy, fairly quick styles I could do with it?

Why has my hair gone from straight to curly?
Ive never cut my hair super short but i did cut it to chin length last year, and since its started growing back (its a bit down my back now) its gotten really curly. i mean not super defined curls, but there are large ringlets if i dont comb it, if i comb it it goes to really wavy. ive never had curly hair before, maybe wavy at the most as a child(but i always had it in braids, so who knows), Im 20 years old so im over puberty, and i havent changed my routine for years. i dye my hair every so often, but it doesnt feel unhealthy. no one in my immediate family has curly hair. my hair is pretty thick and has some texture normally, but i really dont know how to handle my new hair very well, its frizzy and gets tangled soooo much now lol. its really taken a bit to get used to ive never heard of this happening before, although ive seen it in reverse. so does anyone know why this would happen?

Even try opening the door to your home, but don't corner it once inside, let it roam freely with the door open. Eventually it will learn your trust, once it does, please take it to the vet and have it checked for any health issues. If keeping the cat indoors doesn't work, you may earn enough trust to have an outdoor cat, and most shelters will fix feral cats at a discounted price.

What is my next step after filing a whistleblower complaint?
I recently filed a whistleblower complaint against my VP regarding a couple of situations that happened while we were at a meeting. The first was during a break at the meeting I was getting up to leave the room and he stepped in front of me and pulled out his prescription drugs out his pocket and demanded that I take one. I refused and he continued to demand it until my Sr. Mgr stepped in and asked him what he was doing and why he would be offering someone his pain pills. The next situation occurred later in the day, again at a break, when he got up and jumped in front of me and put his hands together like they were a gun, pointed at my head and said boom. This guy is crazy! Anyway, I filed a complaint with our ethics line and the investigation has taken place - there were several people who witnessed these actions. It appears that nothing is going to happen regarding the complaint as he is still my VP and I am still required to have weekly 1:1 meetings with him. I do not feel comfortable around the guy and I am scared of him. It has definitely created a hostile work environment and it appears the company is pushing it under the rug. I also know that there were at least 2 other ethics complaints against him and those complaints have also been investigated. What is my next step?

How to safely get rid of black widows in my home in San Diego, CA?
I am sure we have an infestation of black widows inside as well as outside because they flourish here in these hot, dusty conditions. I just found a huge one under/on a chenille blanket on my sofa...any safe non-toxic ways to seriously repel them? Pulling a really long mane?
Today I'm going out to the barn to get a horse ready for the clinic I'm taking her to tomorrow. Lately it's been really warm where we live so she sweats a lot under a her mane. She look silly in a running braid, and she still gets sweaty with it. Her mane is pretty thin, so I don't need to thin it. Do you think I should cut it a little then pull it? How long does it take to see new growth from braids I forgot?
I got braids Friday and I'm growing it out some more and when will they actually get more looser? Will it take weeks or months....also is it ok to wash them in the shower once a week? I washed them in the shower yesterday....will they frizz? Also they say to dilute with shampoo and water but I work that it won't get it clean enough....I mean can it still grow even if u didn't get all the dirt? My cat won't poop in the litter box?
My cat always pees in her litter box but doesn't like to poop in it. She has been this way for as long as I can remember. She is 7 years old. She always does it at night when I' sleeping or not at home. She poops in the same spots usually. On the mat in the bathroom or the rugs by the front door. She occasionally poops on my boyfriends shoes if he leaves them by the door.(She has done this longer than he has been my boyfriend). When I am at home and she needs to poop, she whines constantly until I have to direct her to her litter box. Only then will she use it. She also perches on the box to poop, yet she gets in it to pee. I've had enough of this behavior as this happens everyday now. I've changed the box, the litter, and her box is cleaned daily. Does anyone know what I can do to get her to stop?

And maybe ones sibling or friend betrayed him and left them for the enemy so he's determined to meet the friend again? Lol also don't be afraid of making you characters to wild, but then make them too plain. Like your main character, I'm not to sure about her looks... What is the best way to sew chenille to a cotton or flannel piece of fabric?
I sewed a blanket for my daughter using flannel and chenille. I laid the chenille flat on the floor and placed the flannel over top. Then I pinned the two pieces together, sewed a 1/2" seam, flipped it right-side out, and top-stitched. Then I washed it, and it was perfect!! No extra flannel or chenille. I washed it a second time, and now there is a ton of extra chenille. What can I do with future blankets to avoid this? I also have tons of burp cloths this same way with absolutely no problems. Younger rabbits don't know what "no" means?
I read in a lot of websites on how sufficient it is that a rabbit would listen if you say no in a sharp voice with hand clapping if needed. My rabbit completely ignored it. She's still young though only at almost 3 months. But is her still being a doe a reason for it or an excuse? Or is she just refusing to listen? Also, just to add, she poops everywhere. I just put the litterbox at her spot yesterday where she mainly poop. Still doing it everywhere else including her bed. Even on my rug and such when I let her out. Cats vs my furniture...cats 1, furniture 0?
While any piece of upholstery can be re-upholstered, it is always more expensive than buying new. I have always had cats with claws but made sure they have plenty of scratching pads to do their thing and they have never ruined a single piece of furniture. You can also buy clear sticky pads to put on furniture pieces from any pet store to deter them if necessary but I have never had to use those. When having pieces re-upholstered the entire piece has to be done. You cannot just re-do a corner or an area. The fabric will never match. Fabrics go in and out of style and wouldn't be available. So again, what it would cost you to recover the piece will far exceed just buying new. Train your cats. It's easier and less expensive.
I have a Golden Ret. who sheds and need to recover my sofa with something that's easy to remove dog hair from.
I use a Furminator on him, but he still sheds a lot. My Crate & Barrel Huntley sofa needs to be recovered anyway. Currently it has chenille but it has lots of pills on it. How could I put natural-looking waves in my hair? ?
I do not like to use hair products that I will be aware of once they are dry. My hair is too short to braid in a lot of parts. I don't want to spend money on a thermal waver or anything, but I have a natural wave pattern when my hair is wet. I comb it so that the part is correct, but my hair is straight. So all my life i have not had any health insurance until i was 21, which is when i got my first real job. I lost that job a year ago and Ive not been able to find work yet. Microfiber or Chenille Sofa?

I need ideas for show looks?
I think you are good right now. Maybe just pick lime and black or turquoise and black, or it might be too overpowering with so many bold colors. Don't braid the mane and don't go too over the top with the accessories. Timed events tend to have a style of no frills, but bold colors.

Looking for a soft (fleece? chenille?) bed jacket in a nice dark color, specifically black or burgundy, although a deep purple or royal blue would do as well. I don't understand why they only come in pastel pink, baby blue, mint green, tan, ivory, white and yellow. Not all bed jackets are for senior citizens and not all seniors want light colors. What about some bed jackets in jewel tones, graphite, fuchsia and black for patients recovering from surgery or undergoing chemotherapy? How to make a blanket with this fabric?
get another piece of fabric and sew the two pieces together . the chenille on the top and other fabric could be anything from blanket material to a light weight cotton . pin the pieces together with the right sides together . sew the four sides together leaving about 12 inches open at the center of one edge for turning the blanket right side out . use a ruler to push out the corners from the inside then pin all around the edges and sew the edges about 1/4 " inside -including the opening - just fold under that part as you are pinning . you will probably need to tac the 2 pieces together at the center and other areas to keep the pieces held together . i hope i was able to help . you will have fun learning to sew .

1.5 year old dog destroying belongings.?
My female boxer has habit of tearing up the first thing she see's when my family leaves. Today I stayed home and she didn't notice. About half an hour after the rest of my family left I got out of ben and the first thing I saw when I walked out into the family room was a torn up log carrier thing. It was ripped to shreds and sitting next to it was my boxer, shaking and and giving me the "I didn't mean to" guilty puppy look. So now I know that she tears stuff up in the first 30 min i'm gone but I don't know what to do! This past week she's torn up 2 sleeping bags, 1 temperpedic pillow, the log carrier, torn a whole in her own dog bed wreaking a her blanket, and 1 slipper.I can all ways tell when shes done something bad because she wont come in the house! A couple weeks ago she tore up a sheep skin rug, which gives me reason to believe that our older dog isn't Innocent! Can you help me with a business name?
I'm starting a cottage industry and have been racking my brain for a creative name. I've seen others ask this here and they get great suggestions, so I thought I'd give it a try. My name is Evalynn and I live in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle area). The products I create are Lavender filled embroidered pincushions, pomanders, letter charms, sachets, pillow cases, shoe bags, bookmarks, embroidered pillows, kids bomber hats, chenille scarves, tote bags, placemats, table runners, door hangers. Many items have embroidery on them. This list is not complete. I'm considering someday expanding my products to include handmade soap. Will someone please help me come up with something that is catchy and isn't boring and is outside of the box!?
I have a picture of my dad that I want created as a chenille patch. Do you know of a company that can do this?

Anyone have a room the kids are not allowed in?
Growing up my cousins house had a room like this. It was the “formal” living room. It had a glass coffee table white rug and cream sofa. The kids were not allowed in there at all. Once a week my aunt went in to dust vacuum and clean the room. There was no food or drink allowed in there and when we came over to paly the adults went in there to talk while we had run of the rest of the house. At Christmas that is where the tree went and you had to remove your shoes before going in to open the presents. They had another, what they called, a family room in the front of the house where the TV and stuff was. Do you have a room you don’t let the kids in?
Can chenille fabric be dyed?
I'm looking into buying this varsity jacket but I want to dye a chenille letter patch from purple to black. Is this possible with, say, black RIT dye?

How big is your apartment? Keep in mind that dark colors give the illusion that the room is smaller & cozy. I love browns, sage green, and burgundy together. The light color of the bed & couch will help the room see more open. Keep the walls a lighter shade of one of those colors. Consider getting area rugs to define the spaces-- one in your living area, one under your bed etc.

What was the name of that worm thing?
Back in the 70's there was a soft small chenille type "worm" that you connected to your shirt button with clear string and made it wrap around your fingers and "crawl" around like it was alive. It was like a fuzzy string with eyes. Does anyone remember it? What did they call it?

How does my story sound so far?
I was up in the attic, looking for a suitcase. My family was going on a cruise to the Bahamas tomorrow for my 14th birthday and I needed something more to put my stuff in. I stumbled upon an old box, with dust and cobwebs practically suction cupped to it. Written with black magic marker on the front it said Chenille’s Baby Stuff. The box was rather large, and I was rather curious. I opened the flaps on the box and to see what was inside surprised me, pictures, toys, clothes, blankets, basically all my stuff from when I was a newborn. On top I saw a birth certificate. Mine. I looked at it for a few minutes; I saw my name, Chenille Marie Antonio. My birthday was also on there… And everything else that should. Then I noticed something that said multiple birth: twin. Wait a minute… I’m an only child as far as I’ve ever known.

Laundry Disaster - Help!!?
I just washed a load of my baby boy's chenille burp cloths and bibs (one side fabric the other side chenille). I washed them all on cold with a ton of the shout color catcher sheets. Anyways, there was one burp clothe that had red chenille - and you guessed it - it bled over EVERYTHING! (I know- dumb move on my part). Any suggestions on how to remedy the problem??
I need help on getting my female cats to get along.?
I have two adult indoor cats that are both 4 years old. One is a male and one is a female. I recently got a new kitten, a female also. Well, my adult female cat is acting out because of the new kitten. She is urinating on the rugs in my home rather than in the litter box like she did for 4 years. (She still poops in the litter box) The male cat gets along great with both. I have tried everything it seems. The Dr. Esley's litter, cat attract... nature's miracle to clean it up.. Feliway...I have picked up the rugs and she just uses it on the bare floor. I don't know what else I can do for Bella to accept Sasha. ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!! I am willing to try anything!! Thanks a million!
Mending rips in vintage chenille bedspread?
The fabric is rotting. Think before you invest any more money in an "old" bedspread. Any place you haven't repaired already could decay next.

What is the best way to run my cable/ethernet cords in my apartment?
Just run the coax around the edge of the room to where your desk is and connect the router there. The coax can be tucked tightly into the corners making it mostly invisible, use white coax to match white trim. Use the covers you linked just in doorways if there are any.
Chenille thick and quick hat pattern?
I am going crazy. I need a hat pattern, or possibly gloves pattern for some chenille thick and quick I purchased the other day. The free patterns on lionbrand's website are absolutely awful. I have been searching for hours. It would be great to have some help with it. Thanks!

There isn't much yardage on one ball. You could knit a very skinny scarf (perhaps 4 stitches wide) for a child, because it wouldn't be very long. Or maybe for a teddy bear.
