How to make an unfinished basement look cool?

I have an unfinished basement where you can see the insulation, pipes, vents, etc. The walls are just cinderblock. I have area rugs in the living area, but otherwise, the floors are concrete. There are nice couches, an armchair, a coffee table, and a large TV. There is a ping-pong table and an exposed weight room. Can I have some help in how to make it look good? I want to have a party but it's kinda drab down there. And oh yeah there is a racecar door hanging on the wall (my stupid stepdad's idea). Thanks
