Where can I find how to make those cute yarn dolls used for dusting popular back in the 70's and 80's?

My mom and grandma used to have one and they had a stick at the top..I want to say they were made like a tassle..but much bigger and were embellished with fabric and..I may be wrong but I think they may have had braided arms or hair...but I want to say that they may have had a bun at the top of their head where the stick comes out. They are used for dusting or you can just simply use them for decor.
