What colour goes with gold in a livingroom?

Hi ,i am going to start decorating my livingroom soon and am thinking of gold coloured paint on two walls but not sure what colour would go well with this on my other two walls, my suite is Terracotta, my flooring is beech laminate and i have a white rug , curtains are also white, can anyone give me any ideas? i am thinking darker curtains even black next to the gold wall ,any help would be much appreciated ,thanks ,Lorna

Why don't you get or make a gift that concentrates on your relationship rather than his individual interests -- like a photo collage or framed photo of you both. At craft stores you can find key rings with locket type photo holders attached -- that would be nice too. And the schnapps idea you had was a very good one!

Why are you not supposed to put chenille in the dryer?

Can you machine dry a chenille sweater? My mom says not to put chenille in the dryer, but I wouldn't know why not. It is polyester/nylon, and I have pants that are a nylon/polyester blend that I do put in the dryer. I haven't bougth the sweater yet so I don't know the instructions other than machine wash (it is on kohls.com). I hesitate to buy it if I cannot because I'm afraid it will be a bit too big as is so I want to shrink it down a little. Will the dryer shrink it a bit or would it ruin it? I really like the look of the sweater becasue it looks soft and warm.
