Will my hair grow back? i hope so :(?

on Saterday my boyrfiend got drunk and got a little aggressive and his had tugged on a braid and ripped the hair from my scalp. It didnt bleed of nothing it seemed irritated but doesnt hurt and right now it doesnt have a feeling at all. I have a bald patch. will it grow back??
